The Jerusalem Center for Applied Policy (JCAP) is an independent research and policy organization focused on Jerusalem. We work directly with decision-makers to expose and confront diplomatic, political, and governance challenges affecting Israel’s capital, including the growing threat posed by radical Islamist and jihadist actors operating in and around Jerusalem. Through in-depth analyses, field research, and on the ground monitoring, JCAP provides clear, actionable insights that help policymakers defend Israel’s sovereignty and counter forces seeking to undermine it.

Jerusalem is facing increasing diplomatic pressure and complex political challenges. Many of these developments take place quietly, outside public view. JCAP’s role is to identify these trends and threats early, document them accurately, and provide policymakers the tools to confront, thwart and eliminate these threats.

JCAP conducts original, boots on the ground research, publishes policy analyses, and leads on the ground briefings and tours for Ministers, Members of Knesset, decision makers, and international stakeholders. Our work connects research directly to real-world policy decisions. ​
